| As
an
applicant/participant in the Bali Journey and Journal Tour it is your
responsibility: |
- to read
and understand the conditions set out on this page and in the
Liability Waiver on the back of the
Application Form, and
to familiarize yourself with subsequent material we will send
you.
- to be fit
and prepared physically in time for the trip
- to be ready
to share and receive from others who will be travelling with you
- to be aware
of and minimize your impact on local people and communities
though which we will travel
- to treat
all we meet, and the environment as well, with respect.

| We encourage
you to have an attitude of flexibility. Our intention is to give you
an experience of life in small villages in a different culture in
a world very different from the one you live in. Although your
comfort is a priority, options available are occasionally not those
we are used to expecting in North America. If single occupancy is
necessary additional charges will be borne by the participant.

| It is your responsibility
to be adequately outfitted. There will be hot sun, high temperatures,
high humidity and possibility of rain. We recommend you come with
a lightly packed back pack and a day pack. |
| Serenity Transformational
Tours and its principals, guides and agents are not qualified first
aid or medical care providers and can assume no liability to provide
first aid or medical care. |
| Serenity Transformational
Tours reserves the right at any time to decline to accept or retain
and to disqualify from the trip or any portion of the trip any persons)
whose conduct impedes the trip's normal operation or the rights, welfare
or enjoyment of other trip members or who are physically unfit or
at risk for the rigours of all or a portion of the trip. Refunds
for unused services will not be given under such circumstances. |

PRICING
|
| Low
overheads have allowed us to set the price we offer for this trip
and we will do everything reasonable to guarantee that price.
However trips are priced well in advance of departure and between
that time and our actual departure we may be faced with unexpected
cost increases. Therefore we reserve the right to increase the
cost of the trip at any time. |
| Serenity Transformational
Tours, its principals, guides and agents are not responsible for any
expenses arising from the delay or extension of a tour due to weather,
political disputes, sickness, failure of public transportation, flight
changes or cancellations, missed connections or any other cause beyond
our control. |

CANCELLATION
|
| Notice
of cancellation must be written or faxed. Refunds will be made
according to the following schedule. (NOTE: the initial
CAD 500 registration deposit is non-refundable.) |
- If cancellation
notice is received a minimum of 60 days before your reserved departure
date, all payments you have made in excess of the CAD 500 registration
deposit will be returned to you.
- If cancellation
notice is received between 30 and 59 days before your reserved
departure date, your payments made--less CAD 500 registration
deposit, a CAD 500 administration fee and any non-recoverable
expenditure we may have made in the purchase
of tickets or reservations on your behalf--will be refunded to
you.
- If cancellation
notice is received 29 days or less before your reserved departure
date all funds you have paid are forfeit. Two exceptions
may apply:
i. If
you find someone previously unknown to us to go in your
place, you will be refunded the money you have paid less
CAD 500 registration and a CAD 500 administration fee, and any
non-recoverable expenditure we may have made in the purchase of
tickets or reservations on your behalf
ii.
If cancellation is due to death in your family, money you have
paid will be refunded according to the above schedule.
However, if you prefer, it may be applied to a subsequent Serenity
Bali Tour, to be chosen within a month of the date of your
giving notice, and begun no later than one year from the cancelled
departure date. No further changes will be accepted
and no further refunds will be accepted.

| If your full
payment is not received 30 days prior to your reserved departure date
Serenity Transformational Tours reserves the right to treat your reservation
as cancelled, with the applicable cancellation fees applying.

| Serenity Transformational
Tours reserves the right to cancel the trip for any reason, including
under-subscription or logistical problems. In such event all trip
payments will be immediately refunded and Serenity Transformational
Tours, its principals, guides and agents will not be responsible or
liable for any losses whatsoever arising out of the cancellation,
including costs incurred by the participant in preparing for the trip,
such as and not limited to non-refundable purchase of tickets or fees
or premiums or equipment. Notice of cancellation will be given no
later than 21 days before the date of departure. |
